*Totem Village- Since 1950, Totem Village was a historical roadside attraction off US 50 in St. Ignance, Michigan. The wildly popular museum featured a collection of folk art from purveyor, Ralph McCarry. American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company transported this museum to Ann Arbor, Michigan and sold folk art, totem poles, wooden carvings, stones, intricate dioramas and many original Native American memorabilia at The Super Auction.
*Lionel Train Collection - Our professional auction and appraisal firm has laid some big tracks in the locomotive collecting industry. We have been contracted to appraise and/or sell at auction some highly esteemed collections and museums. In addition, we have been the choice appraiser for a Michigan model railroad club, estate representatives, attorneys and more.
*Cobo Hall Detroit - American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company was selected to sell the massive Audio & Visual Department of Cobo Hall in Detroit. The event attracted hundreds of enthusiastic bidders which resulted in a wildly successful auction event which exceeded our customers expectations. Auctions Work!
*Military Museum - There is no debate that American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company conducted the largest and the only military museum auction in Michigan history. Thousands of artifacts dating to the Civil War to the Vietnam war were sold from Mike Yeck's Dundee Motor Pool in Dundee, Michigan. Items include but not limited to, actual military vehicles, historical automobiles, rare firearms, swords & daggers, books & artwork, cannon balls and military uniforms. Due to an aggressive advertising and marketing campaign, this auction received an abundance of attention from both local and national media.
*Record LP Collections - No other Michigan based auction firm has sold more LP record collections than us. We were selected to sell the famous DJ, Vocco Kesh collection of LP's and 45 RPM albums. In all, we have sold over 200,000 individual records at public auction!
*Governors Estate Auction - We were honored to represent and sell at public auction, the estate contents of the late G. Mennen Williams who served as the Governor of the State of Michigan from 1949-1961. He was then appointed by President John F. Kennedy to serve as a US Ambassador and later served on the Michigan Supreme Court.
*Sportsman Collections & Taxidermy - Our company has sold highly distinctive taxidermy and firearm collections from prominent estates throughout Michigan and Indiana. Many of these collections have 'made the cut' and were featured in The Super Auction held twice annually at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds in Ann Arbor, Michigan. AMI-ROWE Jukebox Museum
American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company was chosen by the historic AMI-ROWE to sell their historic jukebox museum at The Super Auction.
The iconic music machine maker who manufactured jukeboxes for 100 years in Grand Rapids, Michigan closed down their factory and relocated. For nearly a decade, they placed 88 of their jukeboxes that dated all the way back to 1936 into storage.
The auction was conducted in Ann Arbor, Michigan. An aggressive advertising and marketing campaign produced eager bidders from all around the world and as far as Australia and Austria.
Needless to say, the auction was an end of an era and exceeded AMI's expecations.
