The aggressively advertised and marketed auction attracted a large, enthusiastic audience where thousands of items were sold on a Sunday afternoon. The highlight of the auction included a Case 580E Backhoe that brought a final bid of $13,200.

"This was one of those type of auctions where you really did not know what to expect considering a large portion of the auction was a huge collection of unique artwork from the Cass Corridor. Finding the group of niche buyers was like finding a needle in a haystack, which our extensive marketing campaign successfully did. This large estate consisted of thousands of high end collectibles, precision tools, coin operated machines, antiques, household goods and a beautiful 1989 Harley Davidson motorcycle in pristine condition.
Immediately after the auction, the Tanks took a portion of their proceeds and headed to the airport for a much needed and well deserved vacation.

In October 2009, the American Eagle Auction & Appraisal team traveled to Oakland, Michigan to sell the estate contents of Mr. and Mrs. Burgess. The Burgess family purchased a home near Phoenix, Arizona and made the decision to sell 95% of their business and personal property at public auction. Thousands of items were sold during the lengthy auction including an in-ground Kayak swimming pool, Chevy Truck, John Deere tractor, landscaping, home appliances, bedroom suites and even two large 20 foot metal shipping containers.

Hardware Store Liquidation Auction Exceeded Expectations
After 75 years of being a fixture in the Westland, Michigan community, Kruk Hardware closed its doors but not before one last hurrah.
With numerous options available to him, owner Don Kruk chose the auction method to liquidate his massive inventory and chose American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company to conduct the mammoth task.
