Michigan Auctioneer Rises Above And Wins National Competition
Michigan auctioneer Ken Lindsay was awarded his CAI (Certified Auctioneers Institute) designation as a part of a contest held by the National Auctioneers Association, which boasts a membership of over 7,000 members.
The entries were reviewed by a panel of four judges representing all geographic regions of the U.S. who cumulatively have in excess of 100 years of auction experience. In addition, Lindsay was interviewed by the committee via phone conference.
Lindsay received his award at an Awards Luncheon July 21 during the NAA's 56th International Auctioneers Conference and Show in Pittsburgh, PA. He was given a plaque and three years paid tuition for the Certified Auctioneers Institute, an executive development program focused on developing the skills and providing the tools necessary to run a top notch auction firm. His prize package is valued at $3,000.
